Purse $20,000. Hurdle. For Maidens, Four Years Old and Upward. Four-year-olds, 140 lbs.; older, 154 lbs. Claiming Price $20,000. Entry fee $100; $100 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $200 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Half over National Fences.

SECOND RACE 83

(Allowance Optional Claiming Hurdle)
Purse $25,000. Hurdle. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which have never won $18,000 once or claiming price $20,000. Four-year-olds, 144 lbs.; older, 156 lbs. Non-winners in 2015, allowed 4 lbs.; since September 1, 8 lbs.; in 2014-2015, 12 lbs. (Claiming races when entered for $15,000 or less not considered in estimating allowances). Entry fee $125; $125 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $250 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.

THE JAY TRUMP
(Maiden Timber)
Purse $15,000. Timber. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which have never won over timber. Four-year-olds, 160 lbs.; older, 165 lbs. Entry fee $75; $75 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $150 additional to start.
Three Miles over Timber.

FLAT RACES

THE HH SHEIKHA FATIMA BINT MUBARAK APPRENTICE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Purse $25,000. For registered racing Arabians, three-years-old and upward which have not won four races. Weight: 125 Lbs. Fillies and mares allowed 5 lbs. This race is reserved for apprentice jockeys with a minimum of five (5) wins and who have attended their national racing academy which is a member of the International Federation of Horse Racing Academies. Mounts drawn by lot. One and One Quarter Miles.

Bluegrass Farm Challenge Pony Races

Child riders between ages 8-13 years old; a USPC member pony 14.2 hands or under; one flat race and one jumping race; one furlong each; ran at a trot. Contact the High Hope Steeplechase office for more details.

TRAINER BONUS AWARDS

Trainers’ bonuses awarded to the three most successful trainers of the day – $1,200, $750 and $500 on a points system as follows: 4 points for the winner; 3 points for second; 2 points for third; and 1 point for each starter.
A shipper’s reward of $200 will be given to any non-placing horse shipped more than 300 miles for the High Hope Races.

JOCKEY AWARD

The Jonathan Kiser Perpetual Trophy will be awarded to the jockey who wins the most jump races at High Hope. The winner will receive $1,000 and a Julep Cup. The winner’s name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy.
