To be ridden by local riders. Horses and riders are approved by the High Hope Steeplechase. Hunter/and show horses; any breed (with the exception of Thoroughbreds) and any age. Rider must be over 21 year-old. Jumps will be no higher than 3-feet. Starting position is determined by amount of money raised for charity. Trophy to the winner.
Nine furlongs.

Division Two: Non-Sanctioned Flat/Obstacle Race. The Lexington Derby.
To be ridden by local riders. Horses and riders are approved by the High Hope Steeplechase. Hunter/and show horses; Thoroughbreds only, any age. Rider must be over 21 year-old. Jumps will be no higher than 3-feet. Starting position is determined by amount of money raised for charity. Trophy to the winner.
Nine furlongs.

Keeneland/Stoll Keenon Ogden Friends of High Hope (Starter Allowance Hurdle)
$20,000. Hurdle.
For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which have started over hurdles for a claiming price of $20,000 or less in 2007-2008. Four-year-olds. 148 lbs.; older, 158 lbs. Non-winners of two races in 2008, allowed 4 lbs.; of two races in 2007-2008, 8 lbs.; of a race in 2008, 12 lbs,; of a race in 2007-2008, 16 lbs. (Maiden races not considered). Entry fee $100; $100 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $200 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.
2nd Race:
The Woodford Reserve (Maiden Hurdle)
Purse $15,000. Hurdle. For Maidens, Four Years Old and Upward.
Four-year-olds, 144 lbs.; older 154 lbs. Entry fee $75, $75 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $150 additional to start.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.
3rd Race
The Coca-Cola Sport of Kings Maiden Hurdle (Maiden Hurdle)
Purse $25,000. Hurdle. For Maidens, Four Years Old and Upward. Four-year-olds, 144 lbs.; older, 154 lbs. Entry fee $125; $125 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $250 additional to start. In addition to NSA fee, 5% of any purse money earned in this race will be deducted as a fee to the Sport of Kings Reserve Fund.
Two Miles and One Furlong over National Fences.
4th Race
Hagyard Equine Medical Institute Jay Trump (Maiden Timber)
Purse $10,000. Timber. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward which have never won over timber. Four year-olds, 155 lbs.; five-year-olds 160 lbs.; older, 165 lbs. Entry fee $50, $50 additional if not scratched on time Wednesday; with $100 additional to start.
Three miles and One Furlong over Timber.
5th Race
Darley USA International Amateur Jockey Flat Race (ARCA Training Flat)
For Three-Year-Olds and Upward. To be ridden by members of the Amateur Riders Club of America (ARCA) Three-year-olds, 145 lbs.; older 150 lbs. Maiden allowed 10 lbs. Entry fee $50. The result of this race does not count towards a horse’s official record. A $1,000 award to the owner and trainer of the winner.
One mile and One Half on the Turf.
6th Race
Non-Sanctioned Flat Race
Ashford-Coolmore America, KCTCS-NARA “Catch a Riding Star” Apprentice Jockey Series.

For Three-Years-Old and Upward. Horses and riders to be provided and approved by the North American Racing Academy with permission of the NSA Board of Stewards. 120 lbs. The result of this race does not count towards a horses’ official record. Full set of tack to winning rider. Trophies to first three riders.

Jockey Awards:

The Jonathan Kiser Perpetual Trophy - Winner: Xavier Aizpuru
Is awarded to the jockey who wins the most jump races at High Hope, thanks to the generosity of Kenneth L. and Sarah K. Ramsey of Ramsey Farm, Nicholasville, Kentucky and sponsored this year by Kirkpatrick Company. The winner will receive $1,000 and a Julep Cup. The winner’s name will be engraved on a perpetual trophy.

Trainer Awards:

The KBC International Trainer Bonus Awards - Winner: Jonathan Sheppard
KBC International sponsored Trainer’s bonuses awarded to the three most successful trainers of the day- $1,000, $500, and $250 on a points system as follows: 4 points for the winner, 3 points for second and 2 points for third, and 1 point for each starter.

Shipper's Award:
A shipper’s award of $200 will be given to any non-placing horse shipped more than 300 miles for the High Hope Races.
